Hospice Care Volunteers in Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Thanks for your interest in volunteering! The hospice tradition holds great value and reverence for the volunteer’s impact during this special time of care.
Volunteers are often like a caring neighbor – providing companionship, helping with simple chores, and simply being there. Reading to a patient, helping prepare a meal, or listening to stories and wisdom collected over the years are meaningful ways volunteers can honor patients & their families. Other opportunities to volunteer are in the office, such as answering phone calls, helping plan fundraisers or memorial events, and other clerical work. We encourage your creative ideas to love and support families in this stage of life!
To serve with St. Francis Hospice Care, we first provide 16-20 hours of training both in the office and field. Upon completion, you will be awarded a certificate and receive assignments that fit your interests and schedule. We expect all volunteers to commit for at least six months. We are now accepting volunteers at St. Francis Hospice Care. Please use the form below to sign up. Thank you for your generosity and time.
